In the course of providing floor inserts for discriminating clients, I've run into a variety of
other problems that needed solving......and some that required a great deal of imagination as well, I might add. Converting
old, wornout staircases, such as these.....

Before...... |
.....into something a little more in line with their new wooden floors, .......

|
.....and after. |

|
Once more, before...... |

|
......and after. |

|
.......and after. |
It never ceases to amaze me what people are willing to live with.....some of these staircases
were in the same condition for years before they got around to looking for a solution. But.....what the hey, it's their
house, right?
But many problems were a little more out-of-the-ordinary, like this situation.........here's
a bedroom that the owner has decided to renovate. After ripping out a wall, here's what he was left with.

The client called me on Monday evening......and the sanding crew was coming in Friday.
I've been given three days to come up with a solution. So......here's what it looked like on Saturday morning after
the sanders were finished.

Beat the sanders by twenty minutes. But a vast improvement, wouldn't you agree?
Here's a rather unique addition to the bottom step of a staircase leading to a re-modeled
office. Striking, you have to admit.....

And all this in addition to the 10 or 12 medallions I'm asked to produce on a
monthly basis, as well as trying my best to keep this website up to date, but I take a few minutes once or twice a month to
bring it up to speed, so enjoy. So check back occasionally and see what I've
been up to.
Thanks for stopping.
