In the course of providing floor inserts for discriminating clients, I've run into a variety of other problems that needed solving......and some that required a great deal of imagination as well, I might add.  Converting old, wornout staircases, such as these.....

.....into something a little more in line with their new wooden floors, .......

It never ceases to amaze me what people are willing to live with.....some of these staircases were in the same condition for years before they got around to looking for a solution.  But.....what the hey, it's their house, right?

But many problems were a little more out-of-the-ordinary, like this situation.........here's a bedroom that the owner has decided to renovate.  After ripping out a wall, here's what he was left with.

The client called me on Monday evening......and the sanding crew was coming in Friday.  I've been given three days to come up with a solution.  So......here's what it looked like on Saturday morning after the sanders were finished.

Beat the sanders by twenty minutes.  But a vast improvement, wouldn't you agree?

Here's a rather unique addition to the bottom step of a staircase leading to a re-modeled office.  Striking, you have to admit.....

And all this in addition to the 10 or 12 medallions I'm asked to produce on a monthly basis, as well as trying my best to keep this website up to date, but I take a few minutes once or twice a month to bring it up to speed, so enjoy.  So check back occasionally and see what I've been up to.
